Emerging Market Leveraged ETF Lists (Bullish/Bearish)

The following ProShares Ultra ETFs seek to replicate two times (2x) the daily performance of their underlying index: ProShares Ultra FTSE China 50 (NYSEARCA: XPP), ProShares Ultra MSCI Brazil Capped (NYSEARCA: UBR), ProShares Ultra MSCI Emerging Markets (NYSEARCA: EET), ProShares Ultra MSCI Mexico Capped IMI (NYSEARCA: UMX) and ProShares Ultra MSCI Pacific ex Japan (NYSEARCA: UXJ). Given their objective, we have classified them separately from ETFs on our bullish and short ETF lists. However and with any leveraged ETFs, investors need to carefully read all prospectuses and any other documentation to ensure a clear understanding of what each ETF manager means by terms such as “bull,” “bear,” “enhanced,” “inverse,” “leveraged,” “short” and “ultrashort.” In addition, investors need to keep in mind that all leveraged ETFs achieve their stated aim through the use of complex derivative instruments.
