A handful of Ukraine ADRs have listings trading on the OTC and are concentrated in the agriculture, industrial, basic materials and utilities sectors – a legacy of Soviet era industrialization. However and for some time, almost all of these Ukraine ADRs have appeared to not be actively traded and were classified as being part of the OTC’s Grey Market (before being delisted). This would probably discourage even the most intrepid Western retail investor or trader who might have wanted to speculate on continued conflict or troubles in the region.
Investors interested in investing in Ukraine ADRs should also check out our Eastern Europe ETF list and Eastern Europe closed-end fund list pages as some region wide ETFs or closed-end funds may have exposure to Ukrainian stocks or the Ukrainian economy.
Note: Stocks delisted from the OTC (whether due to mergers, acquisitions or for other reasons) have been left in the table (as their websites still provide a good feel for the company and the local market) and may still trade on local or other important European stock exchanges (e.g. London, Amsterdam etc). They may also be holdings of country or region specific ETFs or Indices.

The Ukrainian Stock Exchanges
The Ukrainian Exchange was formed in 2008 with financial instruments ranging from cash equities to futures and options being traded. Its also worth noting that the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) was the Ukrainian Exchange’s main shareholder; but in Q1 2016, Dragon Capital and UNIVER Investment Group bought MOEX’s stake.
In addition, the PFTS Ukraine Stock Exchange has been in operation since 1997 and is a member of the International Association of CIS Exchanges and correspondent member of the World Federation of Exchanges.
