Investing in Turkey ADRs / Turkish Stocks List
Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS (NYSE: TKC) is the leading mobile phone operator of Turkey and the only Turkish ADR listed on the NYSE. In addition, there are two Turkey closed-end funds: the Turkish Investment Fund, Inc (NYSE: TKF) is a NYSE listed closed-end fund from Morgan Stanley that seeks long-term capital appreciation through investments primarily in Turkish stocks while the Central Europe, Russia and Turkey Fund, Inc (NYSE: CEE) is a NYSE listed closed-end fund from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management that had a 15% allocation in Turkish stocks as of mid-2014. Other important Turkish stocks maintain ADR listings on the OTC. However and as of mid-2014, only Google Finance appears to have trading data for the underlying listing with the tickers listed below linked to that listing while trading data for the OTC listed ADR can be found on the OTC Markets homepage. Finally, investors interested in investing in Turkey ADRs should check out our Turkey ETF list as well as our EMEA ETF list, Middle East/Africa ETF list, Middle East ETF list and Middle East ETF (Region Wide) list as some region wide ETFs may invest in Turkish stocks.
