A list of Mexico ETFs consists of the iShares MSCI Mexico Investable Market Index Fund (NYSEARCA: EWW) from iShares tracking the MSCI Mexico IMI 25/50 Index; the Franklin FTSE Mexico ETF (NYSEARCA: FLMX) from Franklin Templeton tracking the FTSE Mexico Capped Index; and the Direxion Daily MSCI Mexico Bull 3X Shares (NYSEARCA: MEXX) from Direxion tracking the MSCI Mexico IMI 25/50 Index.
As for liquidated Mexico ETFs, the Deutsche Xtrackers MSCI Mexico Hedged Equity ETF (NYSEARCA: DBMX) from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management tracked the MSCI Mexico IMI 25/50 US Dollar Hedged Index. However, niche dollar-hedged exposure funds failed to attract investor interest and the fund liquidated with under US$10 million in funds. The ProShares Ultra MSCI Mexico Capped IMI (NYSEARCA: UMX) and the ProShares UltraShort MSCI Mexico Capped IMI (NYSEARCA: SMK) from ProShares tracked the MSCI Mexico Investable Market Index (200% and -200%, respectively) before their September 2017 liquidation. Finally, the SPDR MSCI Mexico Quality Mix ETF (NYSEARCA: QMEX) from State Street SPDR tracked the MSCI Mexico Quality Mix A-Series Index before its 2016 liquidation.
Its worth adding that the Mexican Stock Exchange or Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) is the second largest stock exchange in Latin America after Sao Paulo Brazil’s BM&F BOVESPA.
