A list of Latin America ETFs potentially covering the whole region consists of the First Trust Latin America AlphaDEX Fund (NYSEARCA: FLN) from First Trust tracking the Defined Latin America Index; the Franklin FTSE Latin America ETF (NYSEARCA: FLLA) from Franklin Templeton tracking the FTSE Latin America RIC Capped Index; and the iShares S&P Latin America 40 Index Fund (NYSEARCA: ILF) from iShares tracking the S&P Latin America 40 Index.
In addition, the Direxion Daily Latin America Bull 3x Shares (NYSEARCA: LBJ) tracked the S&P Latin America 40 Index (300%) before liquidating in 2022 while the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Latin America ETF (NASDAQ: EEML) tracked the MSCI Emerging Markets Latin America Index and the SPDR S&P Emerging Latin America ETF (NYSEARCA: GML) tracked the S&P Latin America BMI Index before liquidating in 2017.
The Global X FTSE Andean 40 ETF (NYSEARCA: AND) from Global X also tracked the FTSE Andean 40 Index covering the most liquid Chile, Colombia and Peru stocks (Note: No single country exceeded 50% of the total index). However, that ETF was liquidated on October 6, 2017.
