A list of United Arab Emirates or UAE ETFs consists of the iShares MSCI UAE Capped ETF (NASDAQ: UAE) from iShares tracking the MSCI All UAE Capped Index. This index is designed to represent the performance of the broad UAE equity universe together with companies that are headquartered or listed in and carry out the majority of their operations in the country.
United Arab Emirates ETF investors should be aware that there are three UAE stock exchanges:
- The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) with most listings being UAE-based companies plus there are a few dual listings for companies based in other Middle East and North Africa countries.
- The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) which trades shares of UAE stocks.
- The NASDAQ Dubai which lists regional and international stocks in the Middle East.
